Details Emerge in Horrific DUI-Suspected Car Accident in Kearny Mesa, California

Sadly, two of the individuals involved were pronounced dead, and two other people later died at the hospital after life-saving efforts were attempted. All four of the individuals that ultimately passed away from the accident were occupants of the Prius that stopped on the left shoulder of the highway. The victims of the fatal car accident have not yet been identified to the public, but law enforcement authorities indicate that three of them were males in their mid to late twenties. The fourth victim has not been identified yet. The drivers of the Toyota Tacoma and the Toyota Prius that ended up on the right side of the road were both arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs or alcohol. One of the drivers arrested is a 32-year-old male, and the other is a 25-year-old man. The case is still under investigation and it remains to be seen whether either driver will be ultimately convicted of driving under the influence or any other criminal charges.
